How We Work

How To Setup An Account With Fly Bird Delivery
The initial setup for Fly Bird Delivery involves a two-step process: first, contacting Dan Wurth via the “Order Now” button and undergoing a consultation to ensure service feasibility; second, upon mutual agreement, signing a contract that outlines the delivery terms and grants pickup authorization, which can then serve as the basis for subsequent orders within the year.
Step 1 - Initial Contact and Consultation

- Submit a Message Request: You initiate the process by clicking the “Order Now” button and filling out a contact form.
- Provide Details: In the note field of the form, you can include any questions, suggestions, or specific instructions regarding your delivery needs.
- Wait for Response: Dan Wurth will respond to your request, which may take a couple of hours due to his delivery schedule.
- Consultation: Once contacted, you will have a consultation with Dan to determine if Fly Bird Delivery can fulfill your specific service requirements.
Step 2 - Contract Agreement

- Contract Sent: If both parties agree to proceed, a Fly Bird Delivery contract will be emailed to you.
- Contract Details: The contract will outline the specific delivery services you require and grant Fly Bird Delivery permission to pick up your curbside order after showing a driver’s license at the selected store.
- Annual Contract (Optional Renewal): The initial contract can remain in place for future orders within the year. After the contract expires, you have the option to renew it for another year if desired.
- Pay-Per-Delivery: Each individual delivery order is paid for separately. There are no additional monthly or yearly charges beyond the per-delivery fee.
Step 3 - Placing Your Order

- Order with the Business: You place your curbside order directly with the desired business (e.g., Kroger, ALDI, Walmart, FoodLion, Lowes, or Home Depot).
- Identify the Pickup Person: Crucially, you must include a note in your grocery/hardware order specifying that Dan Wurth will be the person picking up your order. This allows the merchant to identify him.
Step 4 - Pickup and Preparation

- Order Pickup: Fly Bird Delivery (Dan Wurth) picks up your order from the designated business.
- Verification: Dan verifies the contents of the order against the receipt.
- Proper Packing: Groceries are properly packed in climate-controlled coolers to maintain their quality during transport.
Step 5 - Delivery

- Transportation: Fly Bird Delivery transports your order to your specified residence or place of business.
- Special Instructions: Any special delivery instructions you provided will be followed.
- Delivery Confirmation: A photo of the delivered order is taken, and you will receive a confirmation text message to notify you that your order has been successfully delivered.
